How countries differ

The rules in each country

The calculator runs the same rules Arttop 360 uses to issue final settlements.

Saudi Arabia
15 days for each of the first five years and 30 days for each year after, on the actual wage. On resignation: nothing before two years, one third from two to five years, two thirds from five to ten, and the full award after ten.
United Arab Emirates
21 days for each of the first five years and 30 days after, on the basic wage, after at least one year of continuous service, capped at two years’ wage, with no reduction on resignation. Nationals receive their benefit from the pensions and social security scheme.
Egypt
The employer does not pay an end-of-service gratuity to an insured employee; social insurance pays the entitlement.
Jordan
One month’s wage for each year of service, with part-years pro rata, for an employee not covered by social security. A covered employee receives the entitlement from social security.
